An energy journey
Back in 1997 I was fortunate to join an incredible company, Maersk Oil and Gas which was part of the AP Møller Maersk global conglomerate.
This opportunity turned into more than two decades working alongside outstanding colleagues, many of whom became my close friends. During this tenure, I learned to understand and embrace the profoundness of the AP Møller Maersk core values1, and how to integrate these in the way I conducted my business and interacted with people.
During my career I have also had the privilege to lead some of the world's most complex mega projects across multiple continents. These international experiences gave important insights into how geographical and organizational cultures impact teamwork and - more importantly - how to turn such differences into a remarkable strength.
Finally, I had the honor to attend advanced project management and decision quality courses at Stanford's premises in Palo Alto in 2013. Since then, I have used real projects in the real world as 'playground' to test, refine and optimize best-in-class tools and processes, enabling true embedment and value creation.
Almost 30 years after starting my career as a newly graduated engineer, I feel that my unique background and track record place me in a strong position to share my experiences and help make your exciting projects simple and successful.
